The Father Teds are a five-piece contemporary Irish band much admired throughout the Midlands and beyond for their world-class musicianship and their ability to put on a great show.

Formed fifteen years ago, The Father Teds set out on a mission to entertain and have consistently delivered ever since. The key to the band’s success is their versatility, both in their range of musical styles and the types of shows they perform.

In the past decade the band have performed at numerous private functions, music festivals, weddings, corporate events and concert halls. They have played throughout the U.K. and Ireland, as well as in France, with the enthusiasm you would expect from a group of friends who simply love playing music together.

On stage The Father Teds combine an air of expert professionalism with a warmth and charm so infectious that clients always ask them back. They also take pleasure in being able to provide a full, lively D.J. service. The band’s extensive collection of classic and contemporary floor fillers, coupled with bassist Ian Reid’s skilful command of the decks, is guaranteed to keep the audience dancing into the early hours.
