Meet The Band

Ian Reid is a superb multi instrumentalist, having been involved in a wide range of musical projects over the years. Ian is simply one of the finest Bass players working in the Midlands (and beyond) today. He also plays Banjo, Bouzouki, Whistles to a very high standard and provides fine Backing Vocals as well as being a very accomplished Sound Engineer!

Emma Millman was the 2007-08 Midland Fiddle champion and Duet champion with Mark and plays excellent Fiddle along with backing vocals and percussion. She learnt her traditional style of playing from Pat Molloy and developed her love of performance from time spent with Sonja O'Brien at The Boghill Centre in County Clare. Emma provides more than a little touch of glamour amongst the boys in the band!

David Kearns is an extremely gifted singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist and has spent many years crafting his art through various and diverse musical projects. He's played with many great musicians throughout the years and is well known for his energetic performances and warm personality

Mark McCabe was the 2008-09 Midland Piano Accordion champion, Emma and Mark were also Midland Duet champions. All the playing live together has definitely helped! He is well known in Irish music circles across the UK as one of the finest ‘box’ players around. One time All Britain Champion, Mark plays superb Accordion as well as Keyboards and Piano

Patrick Power was All Britain Champion on the Bodhran in his early teens. He is now a superb Drummer and Percussionist, Paddy is incredibly versatile and can play Drums and Percussion across a diverse range of styles. His blistering beats are sure to get a crowd on their feet and dancing
